PJ Power REMAN - Quality Driven Process
Palmer Johnson designs its reman programs and processes to ensure quality. Experienced, factory-trained technicians remanufacture each unit. No assembly line procedures are used. This consistent, quality-driven process differentiates Palmer Johnson from other rebuilders. PJ’s technicians average 15 years experience and regularly attend factory-based service schools to upgrade skills and expand product knowledge.
Disassembly
PJ’s technicians carefully inspect, measure and clean each unit’s components. Technicians replace or remanufacture all internal parts that do not comply with the original manufacturer’s specifications. Palmer Johnson compiles a Failure Analysis report for each unit, assisting the OEM in identifying design or manufacturing issues.
Assembly
Qualified technicians assemble each transmission or axle individually. Product updates are incorporated into each reman unit. Palmer Johnson uses only 100% genuine replacement parts to ensure maximum unit life and reliability. Units are remanufactured to the manufacturer’s original specifications. PJ maintains an on-site downdraft paint facility that applies OEM factory paint finishes.
Testing
PJ’s technicians utilize advanced testing equipment to ensure that each reman unit meets or exceeds original factory specifications. PJ records and reports all test data.
Shipping
Palmer Johnson’s onsite machine shop builds custom shipping racks designed to optimize shipping efficiency and ensure the damage free transport of all reman units. |
